LuxShade – Built to create your perfect place under the sun.
It all started with a large yard and nowhere to escape the sun.
We couldn’t find a pergola system that offered the strength, flexibility, and clean design we were looking for — so we engineered our own modular steel connectors.
Today, LuxShade makes it easier to build a strong, beautiful pergola without complicated construction or specialist tools. Choose the size, adapt the design, and create an outdoor space made to last.
No complicated building work. No unnecessary stress. Just a modular pergola built around your space.

Frequently asked questions
Can I return a product?
Standard products can be returned if unused and undamaged. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and delivery address of your order.
Do I need a permit to build a pergola?
It depends on the size, location, and how it's anchored. We recommend checking with your local municipality before installation.
Can I order custom-sized connectors?
Yes, custom sizes are available. Contact us with your project details and dimensions to get a quote.
What are your connectors?
Metal fittings designed for assembling wooden pergolas, carports, and lightweight outdoor structures.
What timber sizes are they compatible with?
Each connector is made for a specific beam size, clearly stated in the product description — for example, 102 × 102 mm.
Can I assemble the pergola myself?
Yes, the system is designed for easy DIY installation. For larger structures, we recommend working with two people.
What tools do I need for installation?
Basic tools are sufficient: a drill, screwdriver, spirit level, tape measure, and appropriate screws or anchors.
Are they suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, all connectors are designed for outdoor conditions — gardens, terraces, patios, and carports.
Are they rust-resistant?
Yes, connectors are protected with a primer and powder coating finish. If the surface gets scratched, we recommend touching up the affected area promptly.

Questions Before You Build
Six clear answers to help you choose the right LuxShade system for your project.
01 Which kit is right for my dimensions?
The correct kit depends on the type of pergola, its overall length, width and height, the beam dimensions, the planned roof or shading material, and whether the structure is freestanding or wall-mounted. Send us your measurements or a simple sketch and we will recommend the most suitable connector configuration and quantities.
02 Will my beams fit the connectors?
Each connector is made for a specific beam cross-section. Measure the actual width and height of the beams in several places—not only the nominal size—and compare them with the internal connector dimensions shown in the product description. A small fitting clearance is normal. If you are unsure, send us the measured dimensions and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
03 Will the structure be strong enough?
The strength of a pergola is determined by the complete system, not by the connectors alone. It depends on the span, beam sections, number of supports, anchoring, roof weight, and local wind and snow loads. Based on your dimensions and intended covering, we can recommend a suitable standard configuration. Large, heavily covered, exposed or unusual projects should also be checked by a qualified structural specialist.
04 How is the pergola fixed in place?
The fixing method depends on the surface and the type of structure. Depending on the project, the pergola can be anchored to concrete footings, an existing concrete slab, suitable ground screws or a structural wall. The anchors and fixings must be selected for the base material, structure size and site conditions. Send us photos of the installation area and we will recommend the appropriate approach.
05 Can I assemble it myself?
Yes. The LuxShade system is designed to avoid welding and complicated traditional wood joints. The beams are cut to size, inserted into the connectors and secured with suitable fasteners. Most standard pergolas can be assembled by two people using common tools such as a tape measure, spirit level and drill or impact driver. Larger structures and heavy beams may require additional help or lifting equipment.
06 What should I send to receive the right recommendation?
Send the required length, width and height; whether the pergola is freestanding or wall-mounted; the beam dimensions if already selected; a simple sketch; photos of the installation area; details about the foundation or wall; the planned roof or shading material; and the delivery country and postcode. With this information, we can recommend the correct system, quantities and fixing approach.
