This connector is the answer. Engineered specifically for walls with 10 cm insulation, it reaches through to the hard surface behind — giving your beam a rock-solid foundation, without compromising your thermal envelope.
What You Get:
- A solid, load-bearing base for a 10×10 cm KVH timber beam directly on the hard wall surface — no insulation compression
- Only two narrow strips of insulation need to be cut (20×5×10 cm each) — exactly where the bracket flanges pass through
- Secured with chemical anchors through 4 wide holes into the hard surface
- Gaps sealed with low-expansion foam through the central hole — no thermal bridge
- Slide in the beam and lock it — done
